The Bourne Stuntacular: A Review

As someone who frequents Universal Orlando pretty much every month, its not everyday that I get to experience something entirely new for the first time. I was excited to see that The Bourne Stuntacular in Universal Studios was operating and open even with the new procedures happening within the theme park world due to COVID-19.
With the closing of Terminator 2: 3D back in 2017, the space has been unoccupied for awhile. There is so many attractions and experiences I love on the Universal Studios side of the park that I hadn't missed the previous stunt-filled show. I've watched the Bourne franchise, and while its not one that I would choose over other high-octane franchises, the familiarity of the Jason Bourne story is recognizable and easy to translate within the queue and the show itself.
What really blew me away was how immersive the show was. Immersive!! A stage show based around stunts? Yes, I said what I said. It truly took so many different elements and combined them into a half an hour excursion into what felt like experiencing a Bourne film or a video game. Stunts (obviously), insane set details, the sound and visual work that is hard for me to describe, as well as moving vehicles and live actors brought the story-line to life in incredible detail. I didn't leave my seat, but I felt like I was alongside Bourne on his crusade to bring justice, traveling across the globe.
Without giving too much away, I walked out of the theatre saying "that was so cool, and unlike any stage show I've seen in a theme park before". If you have the opportunity to experience this new state of the art "stuntacular" I would say that it is well worth the stop on your day at the Universal Orlando Resort.

Can’t wait to come back and try this! Sounds like such a great show!!
